# Cancel an authorized transaction

**DELETE /gas-stations/{gasStationId}/transactions/{transactionId}**

### Pre-Auth
Cancel a Pre Auth transaction. This action is only permitted in case the user didn't already start the fueling process. Returns `403 Forbidden` in case the fueling already started.

### Unattended Payments
Cancel an unattended payment process. This will only work if the payment was not already captured. Returns `404 Not Found` in case the unattended payment already went through.

## Parameters

#### Path parameters
- **gasStationId** (string(uuid))
  Gas station ID
- **transactionId** (string(uuid))
  Transaction ID (for pre auth transactions).



## Responses
### 204: Canceled

### 401: OAuth token missing or invalid or a linked identity is missing.

Linked identity missing is a special case where you need to make sure that
the user has additionally logged in / authorized with a third-party.

This is not relevant for most use-cases.

The specific error code that identifies a missing linked identity is `missing-linked-identity`
