# Undo the last configuration step of a cart item

**POST /2026-2/cart-items/{cartItemId}/undo**

Reverts the most recently submitted configuration step for a cart item, allowing the user to step back in the configuration wizard without restarting it.

### Path parameters

- **cartItemId** (string(uuid))
  The unique identifier of the cart item to undo.




## Responses
### 200
The cart item has been reverted to its previous configuration step.

#### Body: application/json (object)
- **data** (object)
  The cart item whose last configuration step has been reverted.


### 400
The cart item has no prior configuration step to revert to, or the cart is in a state that does not allow undoing.

### 401
Client authentication failed.

### 403
Missing one or more required scopes.

### 404
The specified cart item was not found.

### 500
An unexpected error occurred.
